What I've recently bought: Hema and ...: Shoplog

Hi everyone!

I think I've probably already told you I went shopping a few days ago. I went with my mother to a small town in the Netherlands where we had to buy something in a shop that they have only there. And there where a few shops so we have shopped a little bit.

First I've bought these 3 notebooks in a shop where I actually don't know the name of. It is from the bran Pip Studio, I always love their designs, they looks al so cute :).

Secondly I have also bought these 2 small beads where I'm going to do a DIY with. This is also from this shop whit the name that I don't know. They had there so much cute beads and it cost only 2 euros for each.

Than, the next things have I bought in Hema. I've bought here also a little notebook, it is pink with yellow lined papers, haha and it gives me a really school-feeling with the yellow and lines :D.

And last but not least I've bought in Hema also this mason jar with a mix in to make confetti choc cookies. I can't wait to make these cookies this weekend. They look so delicious and I also just love the package, I would just buy it for the package haha :). And I'm going to write a blogpost about this recipe in a few days when I've made the cookies (you can always let me know in the comments if you have a suggestion for a blogpost, I love to read them!)

And as last, I've bought this strawberry growing kit. I'm going to try to grow some strawberries, I say trying because I'm probably going to forget to give them some water (oops!).

I hope you liked it! And let me know what you think :)

New camera case!

Hi everyone!

Like you probably already know, I've bought a few weeks ago my own camera (if you haven't seen it watch here). And now one week ago I ordered this camera case for my Samsung NX3000. I bought this case on eBay.

It is made from leather (probably false leather for this price haha !) but it is a great quality and it is really handy to use, you can just take it with you, take off the protection for the lens and take a picture. This case is just way more handy than a bag where you have to put you're camera always in and then take out again.

This case came from London and I was really happy about the shipping. I ordered it on Sunday and I already had it Friday.

The only thing I can say about this case is just that I'm really happy I bought this case, the case looks really beautiful, it is really handy and, of course, it is a great protection for your camera :D.

What do you think of it?

Citizen Kane: filmreview

Hi everyone!

So we had to see this movie 'Citizen Kane' for school, it is actually a movie that you probably won't see in your free time. But I thought that the movie is really good, so I wanted to share it with you. This film is made in 1941 (haha I've never seen such an old movie :)

The film starts with Charles Foster Kane who died and says the word 'Rosebud'. In this film the journalist wants to find out what it means. Charles Foster Kane was a really rich man, he ran some newspapers and lived in a big isolated castle. After he died in the movie the journalist goes interviewing a few people who were important in his life and that's how they reconstruct Kane's life.

What I really liked about this movie is that everything is very nicely filmed. All the camera movements and montage techniques are very good. And if you pay a lot of attention, you can see that besides the story is really good, you can also see that there is more than only a good story in this film. Everything is just right. Every little thing is not just done because it is beautiful, no, there is a reason behind everything, why there are flowers on the table and why the light and shadow is like that...

When I started seeing this movie I thought like what is this a weird movie, but when I watched further I really liked it. I recommend this movie to everyone. It is just a movie you has to see in your life.

I hope you liked it! And have you ever watched this movie?

200 followers (Yay!) + My favorite earrings!

Hi everyone!

I'm so happy to announce that I've reached the 200 followers! Yay! :D I'm so happy with this (it's actually not so much, but I've made this blog only 4 months ago, so niw I think it is a lot haha) And if you don't follow me already, please follow me on Bloglovin. I just made a Twitter account and it would be nice if you follow me there too :).

Let's start! Today I'm going to show you all my earrings and my favorites from the last few months. On the picture above you can see my earring rack that I've bought a few years ago in Claire's. But after a few years it has become a little bit too small. This are all my earrings I've bought in 2 and a half years, since I have my first earrings.

Like I have already said I'm wearing always the same earrings the last time, just because they are laying on my bedside table so that are the first earrings I see when I get up.

The last time I'm wearing a lot of hanging earrings, just because most of the time they are nicer. I'm still in love with the 'angel wing' earrings, they are really one of my favorite.

The peacock feather earrings are also one of my favorites and I've got these for my 16th birthday, I think.

And the last earrings are two pair of earrings I have made by myself. The first two have you maybe already seen on my blog (if you haven't seen it yet, look here). And the next two have I made too, but it was just a bead that I hung on a earring hook.

I hope you liked it! What are your favorite earrings?

Shopping in 'Achter de maan': deer head, boxes and notebook

Hi everyone!

Like I have already told you, I went shopping in Gent a few days ago and now I'm going to show you what I've bought in the shop 'Achter de maan'. I've already bought a few weeks ago this ring from Pylones and a box in this shop, but now I bought also a few other things.

First of all, I've bought this cute little deer head and it is actually a coat hanger. I thought it was so cute! I'm going to hang it on the door of my bedroom, most of the time there would probably not hang something on but it just looks so beautiful! They have it in different colors, but because I already have a lot of colors in my room I've chosen the black one. I'm just so happy that I bought this :D.

The second thing I really wanted to buy was this little notebook with a fox on the front. For the rest it is just a simple lined notebook, but I just couldn't buy not this cute little fox.

And to end, I've bought this cute boxes. It are actually three boxes that all fit in each other. It is really handy to put something in and when you don't use them it is smaller to store away.

I'm just so happy with all these things I bought, and I just can't stop talking about how much I love this shop.

And please let me know what you think :)

A day in Gent!

Hi everyone!

I went today to Gent (a beautiful city in Belgium haha!) It was actually just a few hours that I was really there. And I'm going to show you a few pictures I took when I was there. And sorry for the bad photos, because they are taken with my iPod which isn't the best quality ever. And a selfie couldn't be missed of course :).

I've seen the city hall of Gent, which is build by Robbrecht en daem. The first thing that I saw was that it is so big!

Then we shopped a little bit. I went to the shop 'Achter de maan' and bought a few things which I will show you in one of my next posts. I can already tell you that I'm so happy when I bought this :D.

And then I went to Hema and bought also a few things, which I wil maybe show you also in a next post.

And before we went home we ate something in Moochie Frozen Yoghurt.I really love this! It is an ice cream shop where you can eat frozen yoghurt, it tastes like ice cream but it's made from yoghurt which is healthier and I think it's more delicious. And you can also choose what you want as topping, I've picked Oreo cookies hihi!

So this was my day in Gent! I hope you liked this post! And have you ever been to Gent?

Books to read: bookshelf tour

Hi everyone!

I just realized I still have a lot books to read which I once bought but never read. And I thought it would be nice to show it to you. I really can just read a book a whole day and doing nothing that day except reading. In the summer holiday I have more time to read, I once read like 7 books in 2 weeks. But now I have less time to read, but I still try to make a little bit of time for it. This are the books I still have to read, and if I finished them I will post a review about them on my blog.

First of all, at the moment I'm reading Divergent by Veronica Roth again, and when I finish this one I want to read Insurgent and Allegiant. And see the movie of course :).

The next series I'm going to read are If I stay and Where she went (right on the photos), and I really want to see the movie of it, but first I want to read the book.

The next book is a book I bought in sale together with a magazine, it's a thriller and it is one of the most famous books of Nicci French. I already read a few books of them and they were really good.

And all the next books (left on the foots) are books I won in a set of books one year ago. I was so happy when I heard I won these books. There are a few books I really wanted to read and winning them was amazing. But a few books (most left on the photos) are books I normally won't read, but because I won them I will read them too. Two other books I won have I already read, and will maybe write a review about it if you like, but they were just so good and are two of my favorite books.

And as last book (I actually forgot this one haha!) the maze runner! I'm very curious about this book, I don't really know what I have to expect of it, but I heard a lot of good comments about it.

Maybe I will do another time a whole bookshelf tour, but I just wanted to share with you which books I recently bought.

I hope it inspires you to read them too. And let me know what you think!

Origami paper stars: DIY

Hi everyone!

I have no school today (Yay!). I'm just going to work a little bit for school today, but first I wanted to make a little DIY. I was looking on my Pinterest and found this DIY to make little origami paper stars. They look really cute and I'm still thinking to maybe put them in a vase or something and to use it as decoration.

This is what you need: paper in different colors

Let's start!

Cut the paper into strips of 17 x 1 cm.

Start with folding it like this.

Insert the end inside the hole.

Gently pull the end through the hole.

Fold it flat like this.

Fold down the end.

Begin folding over with the other end and repeat a few times.

Insert the little end inside.

Then you should have this.

Push gently in all the sides with your nails.

And your finished!

I hope you liked it! And let me know what you think!

Mascara Maybelline the rocket volum' express: Review

Hi everyone!

As I've already told you, a few weeks ago I went shopping with a good friend of me and I was looking for a new mascara. And than she recommended me this mascara from Maybelline the rocket volum' express. Normally I don't wear a lot of make-up, the only thing I wear a lot is mascara.

I'm really happy I've bought this mascara, it stays in place, the brush is really good and the package is also really beautiful. This the waterproof version, but you have it also without waterproof. It's a really good waterproof mascara, it doesn't smudge.

This mascara may cost a little bit more than a normal mascara (I think I paid around 15 euros for it in Kruidvat), but the quality is then really good.

What do you think of it? And which mascara do you use?

OOTD: Just because the weather is so good outside

Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to show you another outfit. The weather is really good here in Belgium, while it's still winter. The sun is shining and it is getting warmer outside.

I wore today a simple jeans with a floral blouse and a blazer. It is just a casual outfit, but to bright up my outfit a little bit I've chosen for the floral blouse, which is my favorite to wear in the spring.

Floral blouse: JBC
Blazer: Lola & Liza
Blue Jeans: Only
Floral watch

I hope you liked it! And let me know or you want to see more outfit of the day posts! :D
