New ankle boots

Hi everyone,

The winter is coming and it is getting colder and colder here in Belgium. So I've bought some new ankle boots. I have bought these ones in Torfs.
I really love this color, they are comfy and it is a very good quality for a good price. What more do you want? I think they look beautiful under a skinny jeans or a winter skirt or dress.

Let me know what you think!

Loom bands DIY

Hi everyone!

A few months ago, loom bands were something very popular here in Belgium. And I was also addicted. I made a lot of bracelets, but I also made some cute figures. I think it is something really fun to do during the holidays, it doesn't take a lot of time to make and the result is super cute! ^^
I made a cow, a penguin and a ladybug, if you didn't see it, haha:)!
You can find a lot of DIY video's on youtube, but here and here and here are the animals I made.

Let me now what you've already created!

Deer Head DIY

Hi Everyone,

A few months ago, I started with making this super cool DIY, but I never found the time to finish it. So yesterday I finally finished this DIY deer head.
I made it with some foamboard (0,5 cm thick). You just need to print the template, cut out the pieces and put all the different pieces in each other.
And if you want, you can first décopatch the pieces before you stab all the pieces in each other, like I did.
Here is the link to the template.

I hope you like it!

Pencil case DIY

Hi everyone,

I just started with learning to sew. And this is actually the first thing I sewed, it's a pencil case if you didn't see it haha;).
It's a really easy pattern, here is the link to the english pattern if you would like to make it too :D. And here is the link to the dutch pattern. You only need 2 pieces of fabric that you like, 1 piece iron-on interfacing and a zipper.
I really like this pencil case, it looks beautiful and it is easy to make. As you've probably already seen above, this is my result of the pencil case :)

Blueberry lemon muffins

Hi everyone!

I'm really happy to write my first post on my blog.

A few weeks ago I baked some delicious blueberry lemon muffins :p. It is actually a recipe for lemon muffins, but the taste of the lemon is not so strong, so I just put some blueberries in it before I put it in the oven.

Here is my recipe:

Ingredients (circa 12 muffins):

  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups self-raisin flour
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 tablespoon salt
  • a little bit lemon juice
  • blueberries (as much as you want :D)

  1. Preheat the oven to 205 degrees C.
  2. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar and eggs.
  3. Add the flour, milk, zest and salt. Mix well.
  4. Add a little bit lemon juice as much as you want and mix well.
  5. Fill cups 2/3 full.
  6. Put some blueberries in every cup.
  7. Bake 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool muffins in the pan on a rack for a couple of minutes before you can turn the muffins out of the pan and cool on the rack.
Bon Appetit!

I hope you like it.
